Kualifikasi Moto2 Le Mans, Lowes Start Dari Row Ke-3

Meski telah meningkatkan kecepatan di sesi kualifikasi Moto2 seri 5 di sirkuit Le Mans, Perancis (7/5) namun Sam Lowes tak berhasil menempati row terdepan di lomba yang akan berlangsung Minggu (8/5).

Pebalap Federal Oil Gresini Moto2 ini hanya mampu bertengger di posisi ke-9 pebalap tercepat di kualifikasi Moto2. Thomas Luthi (Garage Plus Interwetten) berhasil menjadi Pole Man diikuti Alex Rins (Paginas Amarillas HP 40), kedua pebalap tersebut mencetak waktu terbaik dibawah 1 menit 37 detik.

Sementara Lowes membukukan 1:37,396 atau tertinggal 0,549 detik dari Luthi dan berhak start di row ketiga, grid ke-9. Dibandingkan sesi Free Practice (FP) 3, catatan waktu terbaik Lowes telah dipersingkat lebih dari 0,2 detik.

Sirkuit Le Mans yang berkarakter 'stop 'n go' ini seharusnya cocok dengan gaya balap Lowes, namun rupanya pemakai nomor start 22 asal Inggris ini belum mendapatkan set-up terbaiknya. (federaloil.co.id)
